In-Person | Weekly | Wednesdays, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
This is a group aimed at supporting new therapists. Learn how to get out of your head and into your body to lower anxiety and fear of messing up and increase connectedness, clarity, and calm. Part process group and part skills group, this a great place for new clinicians to share their experience in good company, explore power dynamics, and develop tools for being with clients. You may be a good fit for this group if you:
Are a recently licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), pre-licensed therapist (LMSW, LPC Associate, LMFT Associate), or a graduate student in practicum or internship
Are working on managing anxiety, imposter syndrome, shame, not knowing what to say, wondering if you talk too much, going into “fix-it” mode, going into fight/flight/freeze or submit/please/appease, or other dynamics that stem from being new at practicing therapy
Want to feel more connected to yourself and your clients
Note that this is not a consultation group, but a process & skills hybrid group for counselors.
Ongoing group with rolling admission. People get the most benefit from this group by participating for at least 12 weeks.
$180 per month. Itemized billing after each session ($45). Months with less than 4 meetings will be pro-rated.
